Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Chessvision.ai eBook Reader ("App") Collects, Uses, Stores, and Shares information collected from users (each, a "User").
Applicability
This privacy policy applies to:
- "Chessvision.ai eBook Reader" for iOS
- "Chessvision.ai eBook Reader" for Android
As users of many other internet services, we recognize that privacy is extremely important. Further details of App's privacy policy are outlined below.
How We Collect, Use, Store, and Share the Data
Contact data
The app uses authentication to provide services to you. The authentication provider is Firebase. Depending on the authentication method you choose we collect:
- your email address except when you sign in with Apple with an anonymized email
- your name if you choose to sign in with Google and have a name associated with your Google account
- your name if you choose to sign in with Apple and decide to share your name
Besides that, Firebase creates a unique identifier for your account.
Documents
When you open a Document in our App and let the App analyze the Document, the Document is sent to our servers for processing purposes so that you can use the features of the App, for example, double-clicking in a chess diagram in the Document to load the diagram into chess analysis board. The Documents are sent using Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) for secure communication over a computer network. Documents are stored on a Cloud Server to provide you with cross-device access to them.
Purchases
We use RevenueCat service to help us process and handle purchases on both iOS and Android platforms. Therefore, we collect Purchase History and share it with RevenueCat for the sole purpose of App Functionality and Analytics. This data is linked with your unique user identifier.
Usage statistics
We use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect and store information to track usage statistics, such as how many Users opened the App.
Content Ownership
The App allows you to upload, submit, and store Content. You (as a Business or an individual, as applicable) retain all rights and ownership of your Content, and your Content remains yours. We do not claim ownership in any of your Content, including any text, data, information, and files that you upload, share, or store in your account. We are not responsible for any Content you upload, share or create using our App.
Program Policies
We may review Content to determine whether it is illegal or violates our Terms of Service, and we may remove or refuse to display Content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. However, this does not necessarily mean that we review all content, so please do not assume that we do.
Our Access to Your Content
Where permitted by law, we will only access, view, or listen to your Content in limited ways. For example, in order to perform the Services, we may need to access or view your Content to (A) respond to Feedback or support requests; (B) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, legal, or technical issues; and (C) enforce the Terms of Service (D) improve the quality of the App. Our automated systems may analyze your Content in order to improve the App and the user experience.

From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the top of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about them. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Your acceptance of these terms
By using the App, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the App. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
