Reading chess PDFs with Chessvision.ai

How do I read a chess PDF with an interactive board?
Open your book in Chessvision.ai eBook Reader. As its pages are processed, double-click a diagram to open that position on the analysis board. On mobile, double-tap. Move the pieces to follow a variation or explore an idea of your own.
Do I need to buy a special version of my chess book?
No. Open a PDF, ePub, or DjVu chess book you already have. The Reader recognizes the chess diagrams in your file so you can interact with them.
Do I have to wait for the whole book to finish processing?
No. You can open diagrams on processed pages while the remaining pages are still being analyzed. Each book only needs to be processed once.
Can I use the same books on my computer and phone?
Yes. Sign in with the same Chessvision.ai account and open My Documents to find your uploaded books across devices. The Reader is available on the web, iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Can I export positions from a PDF to PGN?
Yes. Use Study Creator to select the diagrams you want and export them as PGN. You can also make a PDF exercise sheet. This exports selected diagram positions, rather than transcribing every move printed in the book. See Study Creator.
Can I try the Reader with my own book?
Yes. Free access lets you interact with diagrams on the first several pages of each book. The Reader subscription unlocks access throughout your books and is separate from Chessvision.ai Membership. See Reader plans.
